Payment Terms of Service

These Payment Terms of Service govern the payment process for customers purchasing goods or services from ZEEDER (Pty) Ltd. They explain the payment methods we accept, how transactions are securely processed, refund procedures, chargebacks, taxes, security measures, and the terms that apply whenever you make a payment through our Merchant Site.

1. Introduction

1.1 These Payment Terms of Service (“Payment Terms”) govern the payment process for customers purchasing goods or services from ZEEDER (Pty) Ltd (“Zeeder”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

1.2 By making a payment through our website (www.zeeder.ai) (“Merchant Site”), you (“Customer”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Payment Terms.

2. Payment Methods

2.1 We accept the following payment methods:

2.1.1 Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express);
2.1.2 Debit Cards;
2.1.3 Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT);
2.1.4 PayShap;
2.1.5 Any other payment method made available on the Merchant Site.

2.2 All payments must be made in South African Rand (ZAR).

3. Payment Process

3.1 When you make a payment, you will be redirected to a secure payment page hosted by Peach Payments.

3.2 Your payment information is securely transmitted directly to Peach Payments’ PCI DSS Level 1 compliant vault.

3.3 At no point do we see or have access to your full Card number.

3.4 All Card Transactions are subject to 3D-Secure authentication where applicable.

4. Authorisation

4.1 Payment will only be processed once authorisation has been obtained from the issuing bank via the Acquiring Bank (Nedbank).

4.2 We reserve the right to decline any payment for any reason.

4.3 If a payment is declined, we will not be liable for any losses you may suffer as a result.

5. Refunds

5.1 Refunds will be processed in accordance with our Refund Policy, which is available on our website www.zeeder.ai.

5.2 Refunds will be made to the original payment method used for the Transaction.

5.3 Refunds may take up to 14 business days to reflect in your account.

5.4 We reserve the right to charge a reasonable administration fee for processing refunds.

6. Chargebacks

6.1 If you dispute a Transaction with your bank, this is known as a Chargeback.

6.2 If you initiate a Chargeback, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our Services.

6.3 You agree to contact us first to resolve any dispute before initiating a Chargeback.

7. Taxes

7.1 All prices displayed on the Merchant Site are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.

7.2 We are not responsible for any taxes that may be payable by you in addition to the purchase price.

8. Security

8.1 We use Peach Payments, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway, to process all payments.

8.2 We do not store any Card information on our servers.

8.3 You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 We shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from:

9.1.1 the refusal or failure of any payment;
9.1.2 any delay in processing a payment;
9.1.3 any error in the payment process;
9.1.4 any unauthorised access to your payment information.

9.2 Our liability in respect of any payment shall not exceed the amount of the relevant Transaction.

10. Governing Law

10.1 These Payment Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

10.2 Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Payment Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cape Town, South Africa.
