ZEEDER Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) sets out the rules governing the use of the ZEEDER Services and the Peach Payments payment gateway services. By using the Services, you agree to comply with this Policy.

1. Introduction and Relationship to Other Documents
1.1 Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) sets out the rules governing the use of the ZEEDER Services and the Peach Payments payment gateway services. By using the Services, you agree to comply with this Policy.
1.2 Relationship with Other Documents (Incorporation by Reference)
This Acceptable Use Policy forms an integral part of the suite of agreements between you (“Customer”) and ZEEDER (Pty) Ltd (“ZEEDER”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
It must be read in conjunction with, and is subject to, the following Governing Documents:
- Master Services Agreement (MSA)
- Payment Terms of Service (Part 4)
- Refund and Return Policy (Part 5)
- Data Protection Policy (Part 7)
- Artificial Intelligence Liability Policy (Part 11)
- Delivery Policy (Part 6)
- Dispute and Chargeback Handling Policy (Part 9)
Order of Precedence
In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between this Policy and any Governing Document:
- The Main Master Services Agreement (MSA) shall prevail in respect of general contractual matters, liability, dispute resolution and termination.
- The Payment Terms of Service (Part 4) and Refund and Return Policy (Part 5) shall prevail in respect of payment and refund matters.
- This Acceptable Use Policy shall prevail in respect of permitted and prohibited use of the Services, PCI DSS compliance and the consequences of violating this Policy.
Acknowledgement
By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by all Governing Documents, and that your rights and obligations are determined by the complete suite of agreements, and not this Policy in isolation.
1.3 Scope
This Policy applies to all users of the Services, including customers, End Users and any third parties accessing the Services through your account.
You are responsible for ensuring that anyone accessing the Services through your account complies with this Policy.
2. Prohibited Activities
2.1 Illegal Activities
You may not use the Services for any activity that is unlawful or prohibited under applicable South African law or the laws of any jurisdiction in which you operate.
Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- Fraud or fraudulent transactions.
- Money laundering.
- Terrorist financing.
- Identity theft.
- Phishing or social engineering.
- Any criminal activity.
2.2 Prohibited Products and Services
You may not use the Services to process payments for, promote or facilitate prohibited goods or services, including but not limited to:
- Illegal drugs or controlled substances.
- Counterfeit goods.
- Weapons where prohibited by law.
- Pornographic or illegal adult content.
- Human trafficking or exploitation.
- Any activity prohibited by Peach Payments or the applicable Card Schemes.
2.3 Security Violations
You may not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any ZEEDER system.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services.
- Introduce viruses, malware or malicious code.
- Attempt to bypass security controls.
- Probe, scan or test vulnerabilities without written authorisation.
2.4 Misuse of the Services
You may not use the Services in any manner that:
- Harms ZEEDER or its reputation.
- Interferes with another customer’s use of the Services.
- Violates the rights of third parties.
- Breaches applicable payment network rules.
- Violates any applicable law or regulation.
3. PCI DSS Compliance
3.1 No Storage of Card Data
You must not store, retain or record any cardholder data unless expressly authorised under the applicable PCI DSS requirements and approved by ZEEDER and Peach Payments.
Sensitive authentication data, including CVV numbers, PINs and full magnetic stripe data, may never be stored after authorisation.
3.2 Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that your systems, employees and authorised users comply with all applicable PCI DSS requirements when accepting or processing card payments through the Services.
You must immediately report any suspected compromise of payment card information or security incident affecting your environment.
3.3 Security Controls
You agree to maintain appropriate administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect payment information and prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction of cardholder data.
ZEEDER may require evidence of PCI DSS compliance where applicable and reserves the right to suspend Services where non-compliance presents a security or regulatory risk.
4. Consequences of Violation
4.1 Suspension of Services
ZEEDER may immediately suspend or restrict your access to the Services if you breach this Acceptable Use Policy, the Governing Documents, applicable law or the requirements of Peach Payments, the Card Schemes or any applicable Third-Party Platform.
4.2 Termination
Serious or repeated violations of this Policy may result in the permanent termination of your account and your right to access or use the Services.
Termination under this Policy is in addition to any other rights or remedies available to ZEEDER under the Master Services Agreement, applicable law or any other Governing Document.
4.3 Reporting of Illegal Activity
ZEEDER reserves the right to report any suspected unlawful or fraudulent activity to the appropriate regulatory authorities, law enforcement agencies, financial institutions, payment networks or other relevant third parties where required or permitted by law.
4.4 Liability for Losses
You remain responsible for all losses, damages, costs, claims, penalties or expenses incurred by ZEEDER arising directly or indirectly from your breach of this Acceptable Use Policy.
Nothing contained in this Policy limits any other rights or remedies available to ZEEDER under the Governing Documents or applicable law.
